Below is information on an archery event in July:
The California State Games (CSG) is a grass roots program of the United States Olympic Committee. The games consist of 25 sports (Archery being one of them) and thousands of athletes from around California. The Summer Games are held in San Diego from 16 July – 19 July 2015. On Friday July 17th we will have our opening ceremonies at Qualcomm Stadium where every athlete is treated like an Olympian. There is a parade of athletes, as well as our torch lighting ceremony, key note speaker, and fireworks to welcome all athletes to the California State Games. Following each sports championship game we will be awarding gold, silver, and bronze medals to our winning athletes.
All Archers will be competing at the Easton Aluminum Archery Complex, located at the US Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. We would like to extend our invitation to all Archery athletes to attend the California State Games. If you are interested in supporting the California Summer Games, we would like to send fliers/postcards to hand out to your archers and coaches.
